If you are looking for single-use AA alkaline batteries and you are a fan of AC Delco, their 40pk of those is on sale for $8.48 at Amazon by Amazon itself. It comes out to 4.71 batteries per dollar. It is an Add-ON item, so you must needs place a $25+ order to buy it. You can buy as many of these as you want, so you can get to $25+ with three 40-packs. This is not a lightning deal, so expiration time is unknown.

UPDATE: their 48-pack of AA single-use alkalines is on sale for $10, also an ADD-ON item, but you can buy as many as you like. This price is 4.8 batteries per dollar.

If you are a AC Delco AAA single-use batteries, the 48-pack of Super Alkaline AAA Battery is on sale for $9, making them 5.3 batteries per dollar. This is an ADD-ON item, so you need a $25+ order to buy them, but you can buy as many as you like.

It looks like the AmazonBasics AA 100-pack is chasing them downhill in price, they are now going for $13.74 with up to three 100-packs per customer. These come out to 7.28 batteries per dollar.
