New Year, New Cameras! Panasonic has a new M43rds camera, the GF7 with the 12-32mm lens is a 16mp camera with a price of $600, in black or pink color schemes, available for pre-orders at B&H Photo and Adorama and Amazon with a February-ish release estimate… We are keeping track of only the interesting new cameras of 2015 in this tracking post.
PS: I forgot to mention, the previous version, the GF6 with the 14-42mm kit lens goes for $350 in new condition at B&H Photo and Amazon itself (limit 2).

The Panasonic LF1 is no longer available/orderable at Adorama, but if you still want this out of the many and more compacts with RAW (see Fixed Lens Camera Chart for the big picture), the black LF1 is in-stock and ready to ship for $230 at B&H Photo, while it is in the nebulous “temporarily out of stock” state from Amazon itself.
Panasonic announced a new burst of fixed lens cameras at CES, headlined by the ZS50 with a 30x optical zoom, RAW, Live Viewfinder, and a price of $400. Also new is the ZS45 and ZS10 compact-zoom, and TS6 and TS30 elementproofs, all available for pre-order at Amazon.
As of a 12/29/14 recheck, the price is back to $6500… As of a 12/29/14 at 2:12am ET recheck, the silver Panasonic GM1 with 14-42mm has gone “temporarily out of stock” as well at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of two per customer. This is not part of the lightning deals, so the price is market driven.
As of a 12/29/14 recheck, the price is back to $6500… Oranges and carrots are good for you. If you happen to like cameras with colors somewhere in-between oranges and carrots, the Panasonic GM1 with 12-32 (model DMC-GM1KD) is on sale for $500 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself. I don’t now if this was part of a camera kit that got split apart or not.
The Panasonic LX100 compact-with-RAW stubbornly holds on to the early-adopter price of $900, however, to sweeten the price, there are offers with free accessories at authorized Panasonica dealers. At B&H Photo, the silver LX100 includes for free the Panasonic DMW-CLX100 Jacket Case ($100 on its own) along with a free 32GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC card and 4% promotional rewards (= $36)

To the eBay Deals we go where we find the new condition Panasonic GF6 with 14-42mm offered for $360 with free shipping by Robert’s Camera on eBay (99.6%). Limit five per buyer. As with all featured eBay deals, they are limited time offers of unknown expiration date.
