Thanks to one of our readers for the alert! We just updated the Stock Status Tracker and we have good news for the Fuji X-T2, it is in-stock and ready to ship (or picked up in-store where available) by Best Buy in both the X-T2 body only for $1600, and the X-T2 with 18-55 for $1900. These are the normal prices.
We haven’t mentioned the Leica T Mirrorless camera in a while, but while price-checking for the new Price Charts series, I noticed that the price of the Leica T Mirrorless body only is $1095 with free shipping at B&H Photo. This is an APS-C non-rangefinder mirrorless system Leica introduced earlier on. It uses its own T-mount lenses, but of course can use the classic Leica M-mount lenses via adapters.
The floodgates have opened for the Panasonic G85, the camera is now in-stock at multiple retailers at its normal prices of $900 (body only) or $1000 (with the 12-60mm lens). You can find many at the just-updated Stock Status Tracker. The latest in-stock additions include Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo.
The brand new Olympus E-M1 II micro-four-thirds price-flagship is now available for pre-order as a body only kit with a starting price of $2000 at B&H Photo. Shipping estimate is early December… This camera too is included in the Stock Status Tracker…
UPDATE: more retailers have it available for pre-order for $2000 including Amazon itself (December 8 estimate) and Adorama and the official Olympus USA store GetOlympus.
As of a 11/3/16 recheck, this sold out and is no longer available for purchase… There are so many mirrorless cameras to price-check for the Price Charts and they are revealing more discounts. The black Panasonic G5 body only is currently available for $300 with free shipping at Adorama. If you have Amazon gift cards to spend, you can also get it likewise from Adorama on Amazon (not Prime eligible)… There are dozens of M43rds cameras now (even more if you consider used/refurbished), so deciding what do is a project in itself…

As of 11/3/16, this sold out and is no longer available… Fuji is another camera company with many interchangeable models in the market, but if it is the Fuji X-T10 body only the one you want, in Used condition with an “E- ratings” (E- = Excellent Minus; not the school grade), you can get it for $459 plus shipping (around $10 for West coast) at Adorama.

We have just updated the Stock Status Tracker and we have some semi-good news, the Fuji X-T2 body only is semi in-stock. Let me explain. The camera shows as in-stock at the B&H Photo website but because they are closed for religious holidays, it will ship October 26 in 2016. The trade-off is whether you want to wait for a couple of weeks for it to arrive versus waiting to find it available right away.

I don’t recall a camera manufacturer offering free food with a camera purchase before, but Olympus is currently doing it. If you purchase the Olympus E-PL8, and fill out some forms, you can get a brunch for two (yes, brunch as in breakfast + lunch) for FREE.
