I am going through the Black Friday Ads and price-checking to see which cameras have already been price-matched by the internets. The Sony a5000 w/16-50mm is advertised for $350, and the internet has matched the price, but that’s not all, Adorama is bundling it with lots of free accessories including the Corel software bundle (Aftershot X2, PSP X8), Bag, SD, Filters, etc). The same price is at B&H Photo and Amazon itself but no freebies.
On the other hand, if you want to optimize for a lower price, you can get it in open-box condition for $298 at B&H Photo with a 1-year warranty from B&H (not Sony USA).
PS: while I’ll try to price-check as many things as I can, I won’t post individual alerts for every single one of them. But they will be added to the Black Friday Ads digest post.
