YMMV Amazon Chase VISA cardholders: Canon 80D with 18-135 for $1279 with coupon

NOTE!!!: this is a YMMV promotion. I have no way of knowing how many people are eligible.

If you have an Amazon Chase VISA credit card and you are eligible for this promotion (detailed post explains the promotion ~ I don’t want to repeat the whole post) and logged on to your eligible Amazon account, there is a super hot deal [you will only see the offer if you are eligible] for the Canon 80D with 18-135mm kit [this is the camera’s page, everyone will see this].

The standard Amazon price is $1600. You add the Canon 80D with 18-135mm kit to the shopping cart, make sure your payment method is the Amazon Chase VISA credit card, and enter coupon code ARC20SPRING there. The price will drop by 20% in the right sidebar of the Amazon Checkout page, making it $1279~ with free shipping. This has to be sold and shipped by Amazon itself, not 3rd-party sellers.

If it doesn’t, it means the promotion is not working, either because you are not eligible or you are using a different payment method or Amazon is not the actual seller or for other reason(s) that I am not aware of.

If all is well, it should look like this:

canon80D_chase_amzn

Again, please note this is a YMMV type of an offer, I have no way of testing this at a grand scale. I tested with an account with the Chase VISA card, one without it, and not being logged on to Amazon.

IF you tried this and it worked or didn’t please let us know in the comments!

YMMV Amazon Chase VISA cardholders: Canon D-Rebel T6 w/18-55 for $400 OR T5 w/18-55 for $320 [or both for $720]

NOTE!!!: this is a YMMV promotion!

If you have an Amazon Chase VISA credit card and you are eligible for this promotion (detailed post explains the promotion), there is a super hot deal [you will only see the offer if you are eligible] that will get you the:

+ Canon D-Rebel T5 w/18-55 IS II for $320
+ Canon D-Rebel T6 w/18-55 IS II for $400
+ or get both for $720

To get that:
+ must be eligible for the promotion
+ you have to pay with the Amazon Chase VISA credit card
+ then enter coupon code ARC20SPRING in the shopping cart (20% off the current price)
+ camera must be sold and shipped by Amazon itself (not 3rd-party sellers)

If all is well, you will see this at the top right corner of the Amazon Checkout page. In this example below, both D-Rebel T5 and T6 kits are in the shopping cart. You can buy either one or both or any other combination of eligible items apparently:

Canon 80D Kits start getting Free Accessories

After the early adapters are fed at the trough of time (vomit-worthy poetic imagery here!), newly released digital cameras start getting free accessories with purchase, often before the first discounts arrive. Such is the case with the Canon 80D kits, all three official kits (body $1200, w/18-55 $1350, w/18-135 $1600) are getting three free accessories at B&H Photo: extra Watson battery, 16GB Extreme SDHC, and shoulder bag.

You pay $1600 at checkout, and receive the Canon 80D body only, the Pixma PRO 100 printer, its trusty sidekick (50pk 13×19″ SG-201 photo paper), a 32GB Lexar SD card, and an extra 3rd-party charger with two 3rd-party batteries. After you make sure all is well, you submit the mail-in rebate, and if all is well, a few weeks later you will receive a $350 prepaid American Express Gift Card by snail mail, making it a $1250 after $350 MIR offer.
