Nikon Black Friday offers (91 options)

Ninety one is the magic number of options in the B&H Nikon Black Friday with a mix of DSLR and mirrorless cameras, but surprise-surprise there’s a Coolpix P1000 superzoom (or is it a telescope?) bundle. There’s lenses of course for both DSLR and mirrorless, along with Nikon MB-D16 Multi Battery Grip for $137. Too many to list here individually…

Canon Black Friday offers (61 offers)

Make every shot a Powershot, but they are not participating in this installment of the Canon Black Friday offers at B&H Photo. They have 61 offers that are mostly DSLR and mirrorless cameras and associated lenses, flashes, and other accessories and binoculars. Too many to list here individually..

Sony Trade-IN Promotion (ends 12/31/22)

If you want to join the Sony world or you want to add more Sony cameras or lenses to your arsenal, Sony and B&H Photo are running a trade-in offer until 12/31/22.

In addition to the trade-in value of your old camera year (eg for argument’s sake let’s say my old Nikon D40 is worth $40), you also receive a trade-in bonus from Sony that varies depending on which Sony product(s) you are buying. Some gear may also have instant savings/rebate promotions that are currently in progress.

The value of what Sony offers depends on the price of the camera/lens and also on what Sony has strategically decided to encourage the purchase of.

You can trade-in your old digital or film interchangeable lens camera or lens. Check the aforelinked website for more details, as it is easier to see it in pictures than me trying to describe it with words 🙂

Fuji Black Friday offers (22 options)

Fuji is having a bit of a similar strategy to Pentax, an APS-C system and a medium format system and this is reflected in their Black Friday offerings at B&H as it is a mix of the X-System and their medium format mirrorless system. No Fuji X100V in the BF offers as there are supply issues. Hard to sell something you don’t have, it pains me to say.

Panasonic (73) and Olympus (41) Black Friday offers

A love affair that was born four thirds together, so in this post we group the OlyPan offers at the B&H Black Friday!

We start with the Panasonic offers, a total of 73 of them, a mix of mirrorless cameras and lenses (mostly M43rds, but some S-series too), and fixed lens cameras too (FZ/ZS zooms and LX rawsumers), along with the HC-X1 camcorder.

On the other side of the aisle, there are 41 Olympus offers featuring M43rds cameras and lenses.

Sigma and Tamron Lens Deals (75 options)

And now let’s group together the two major third-party lens manufacturers at the B&H Black Friday offers. Sigma offers 56 mostly lenses of DSLR and mirrorless variety for a variety of systems. Too many to list here individually. Also part of the festivities is the FP (really Sigma, couldn’t find a better name) camera for $1500 or $1600 with 45mm lens. They also have three mount adapters.

Then we take a look at the Tamron offers where we find 19 lenses, a mix of DSLR (Canon, Nikon) and mirrorless (mostly Sony E but also a Fuji X option)…

Sony Black Friday offers (68 options)

Sony time now, B&H Photo is running 68 Sony offers at their Black Friday featuring mirrorless cameras, lenses, memory cards, and system accessories too (flash, grip, battery, etc). There’s also one fixed lens camera, the ZV-1 going for $650…

Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer for $85

We haven’t mentioned a printer this BF season so far, so to tick the boxes, to fill out the Bingo card, to complete the drinking game, okay, this sentence is out of control…

As part of the BF festivities, B&H Photo is offering the new condition Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer for $85, with a 1-year warranty. As usual with printers, you review both the printer and the inks and the cost of the inks 🙂

11″ iPad PRO M2 Chip (128GB, Late 2022) for $739

We already mentioned the Apple M1 offers, but some of you may say, M1 is so last year, I want an M2 deal. Well, B&H has that too, good for the Black Friday festivities, you can get the new condition Apple 11″ iPad Pro M2 Chip (Late 2022, 128GB, Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray) for $739, down from its Apple price of $799. The 256GB version goes for $849. The silver color schemes for some reason [insert invisible hand of the market explanation here] are more expensive.

And per the “OS Fairness Doctrine”, since we mentioned an Apple product, we must also mention a non-Apple product, also part of the BF 2022 festivities, B&H offers the new condition ASUS 13.3″ ZenBook Flip S13 OLED Multi-Touch 2-in-1 for $900. Specs include 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 4-Core (11th Gen), 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 13.3″ 3840 x 2160 OLED HDR Touch-Screen, Iris Xe, Stylus and Sleeve included, Thunderbolt 4, NumberPad 2.0, promise of up to 16hr battery life, Windows 11 PRO, MIL-STD-810G, Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5, etc… (reading the specs I want to buy it LOL!)

For never-ending action check the B&H Photo website

NOTE that B&H closes on Friday PM for the Sabbath, so be sure to place your orders earlier on Friday if you want to lock them in. Or wait until they re-open on Saturday PM.

PS: unrelated, but for post-economy reasons, DiscountMAGS is having a Black Friday Blowout sale with various print magazine offers for US addresses without auto-renewal…

Black Friday officially dawns at Amazon, NewEgg, Etc

Black Friday is here and in the pacific time zone, and pretty soon in Hawai’iii too, so more websites are officially and formally “dressing up” their websites in Black Friday gear!

More specifically, the NewEgg website is now a Black Friday crash test for your browser and phone and tablet and laptop. Yes, it’s that bad 🙂 Save any open files before going there 🙂

Amazon too has updated their Black Friday page, which looks pretty much like a special edition of their usual Gold Box 🙂 Another browser crashing test! Speaking of which, there’s another drop of 230+ Kindle ebooks on offer. Because reading is FUN-da-MENTAL!

Already in Black Friday mode are the websites of B&H Photo and Adorama and
Monoprice and KEH Camera and many and more…

On a blog-related note, I have temporarily increased the number of posts that show on the home page from 30 to 50, so you can see all the recently-posted deals on a single page, so you don’t have to navigate 2nd and 3rd pages. It may slow down access a bit but probably not ~ unless for some strange reason this blog goes viral with the web or the forums or the search engines (unlikely LOL).

And one last thing, which I should have mentioned at the start of Black Friday week (yes, I’ve become very rusty), we have a FREE Full-Text RSS Feed with Feedburner if you want to keep up with the offers using your favorite RSS readers and such. If we had Patreon, this would have been a great Patreon reward tier, but back in our time, we didn’t have such things on the internets, we just had text-based browsers and dial-up 🙂

15% off at GoPRO’s website

Good until Cyber Monday, the official GOPRO online shoppe is offering 15% “add to cart” discount on most items sold on their website. There are some restrictions on the offer, up to ten items per customer, one shopping cart discounted per customer. There is a little link right where the offer is mentioned at the top of their website that has the whole lawyer-y terms and conditions of the promotion…
