PayPal update: Gift Cards not eligible for PayPal Seller Protection after June 25
Good old PayPal, sending emails of Policy Changes on Saturday night, like politicians trying to keep a scandal under the radar. The new terms will take effect on June 25 in 2016. Of note, gift cards will not longer be covered by PayPal Seller protection. This could potentially affect the availability and prices of gift cards if sellers don’t have as much protection. The future will tell how this will impact things.
