(ENDED) Wednesday Daily Deals: Macro Lights, Neewer, Studio/Lighting Kits, Tripod, PowerExtra, Rigs, 3rd-party Flashes, 480GB external SSD, Etc

These lighting deals expired… For future ones in the future, check the Amazon Gold Box and Camera & Photo page

Microsoft is planning their high profile Fall 2016 event for 10am Eastern on Wednesday. Assuming I wake up early enough (and coherent enough), I will be live-tweeting it.

Day #49 of the Fuji X-T2 release and it continues to be out of stock, while the Panasonic G85 is starting to have some action and the Sony RX 100 Mark V is scheduled for later in the week. Check the Stock Status Tracking page for more… CORRECTION: the blurb I was pasting from previous daily posts was incorrectly mentioning the X-T2 battery grip was in-stock. I just now noticed it. All apologies for the confusion. Sadly this is a side-effect of re-using previous posts to minimize introducing new errors/typos versus writing everything a-new and then introducing brand new errors/typos every night…

Hello again. Please consider a suggestion.
” 2X HuiHuang Professional Portable Photo Studio Light Stand Camera Tripod flash Strobe lighting 2M 7ft”
I read that three times, at a late hour when I wasn’t up for playing cryptographic games . That dense, overgrown jumble is not meant to be a product headline. It’s a descriptive terms dump intended to make that product page easier for Amazon’s search engine to locate when someone types in something or other indicating an interest in photographic light stands. I can understand your wanting to just copy that word-jumble link to plant in the day’s post. That’s quick and convenient. I would do the same thing.

My suggestion, though, is that the item headline (or lead-in line) in your post, ahead of the word-jumble link, would work better for us human readers if it were to be written something like this: “Two HuiHuang seven-foot studio light stands.” That is quickly and simply comprehensible, and doesn’t involve a lot of extra typing. Just a thought from a retired copy editor. 😉

    • thanks for the feedback! It depends on my state of mind. Sometimes I do these late at night and I worry that my “translation” would be inaccurate or misleading or trying to resolve that word jumble uses up my last remaining brain-CPU cycles for the day 🙂
