To keep marketing and legal departments busy, companies often decide to change names. Such is the case for “Massdrop” which is now just “Drop” 🙂
Which brings us to one of their latest offerings, the new condition IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT I-1 INSTANT CAMERA BUNDLE offered for $60 with free US shipping.
This is currently only shipping to US addresses, so if you are outside the US, try forwarding services or long lost cousins 🙂
It’s neo-retro time at Massdrop, this time they are offering for a limited time the new condition Impossible Project I-1 Camera Bundle for $40 with free shipping to USA addresses. This particular offering cannot be shipped outside the US per their shopping cart.
$40 gets you the I-1 camera, a carrying case, and neck and hand straps. Optionally, in the shopping cart, you can add various films for about $13 per film option. There’s also a $7 Polaroid photo box option. “Film” as in 600-type and I-type.
These will ship in mid-April 2019 from the vendor. There’s no reference of a warranty in the product description.
Sometimes the impossible becomes possible, and then impossible again. While you ponder on that, Adorama is having a closeout sale on Impossible Polaroid 600 cameras and films and accessories. The blue camera and the black camera go for $100 each…
… but the more iconic black with red stripe goes for $110~ at Adorama and Focus Camera on eBay.

The Impossible Project i-1 instant film camera is now in-stock-ish from the Impossible Project website. You can purchase it right now with a shipping estimate of 1-2 weeks ($300 is the option without any film, the $350 and $400 prices include film with them).
If you can wait, it will become available for pre-ordering on May 24 in 2016 at B&H Photo.
Adorama is offering the Impossible Instant Lab for iPhone for $170 with free expedited shipping. While there, locate the yellow “Special Offer” button.
