Don’t ask me why, but I sometimes think there must be provinces in China whose economies center around making tripods, ballheads and other types of tripod heads and, lately, steadying devices for video and action cameras. I further suspect these provinces, though numerous, are vastly outnumbered and outproduced by whole provinces whose economies are devoted almost entirely to producing GoPro knockoffs and accessories by the container shipload. And in each province,there must be an Amazonian sort of consulate whose personnel place large orders and arrange shipping.. 🙂
