The clock is ticking on this offer, it is running until 3/28/18. This offer may be available to Costco members only, but I’m not sure how VISA Checkout can know whether someone is a member or not. Anyway, let’s start from the beginning…
If you make a purchase of $250+ at the Costco website and pay with “VISA Checkout” with an eligible VISA credit card, you will receive a $50 statement credit on said VISA credit card. The $250+ total must be in a single transaction. There are exclusions to the promotion (Travel, Photo Center, Instacart deliveries, Business Delivery, Pharmacy). See all the terms and details at the promotional website. Select VISA cards are not eligible as well (FSA, EBT, Buxx, and anything that is not processed through the VISA system).
It is free and easy to enroll in VISA Checkout. They do offer occasionally good deals of this kind at various retailers, so it’s not a bad idea to have an account with them.
If you are not a Costco member, it’s not guaranteed that it will work, so if you want to take a shot at it, do so knowing that you may not get the $50 statement credit. In other words, buy things you would have bought anyway one way or another. Lifetime supply of socks and toilet paper and soap 😉
