The Sony Instant Savings promotion reminds us that you can get into the Sony APS-C E-system with a step-up series camera (A6xxx) for just $398. That’s right, the a6000 body only goes for $398 and the “with 16-50mm” kit goes for $448.
At Adorama you have to do some scrolling and paging up-n-down to find all the options but you will be rewards because the “with 16-50” kit gets more additional freebies (flex tripod, extra charger/battery, lens filters, better memory card) than the body only (bag, memory card, cleaning kit, software, card wallet). Note also that the camera is available in two color options, effectively doubling the number of options you have to sort through…
At B&H Photo you get a 32GB Sandisk Extreme, a 3rd-party battery and a camera bag, while the two lens kit ($598) gets a lens filter as well…
At Amazon, various 3rd-party sellers offer various freebies, a dizzying array of options as there are three official camera kits with two body colors for the camera and many 3rd party retailers 🙂

The newer a6300 has already been discontinued but the a6000 continues as a current model. The all-new a6100 goes for $650 (body) or $750 (w/16-50)…
