Refurbished Nikon D810 body for $2199

The new Nikon D850 is coming later this year for $3300 [see Stock Tracker for options]. The existing Nikon D810 goes for $2800 in new condition at authorize dealers…

… but if you prefer to get it refurbished from an A-list dealer, you can get it refurbished at B&H Photo for $2199 with free shipping with a 90-day warranty (I think the warranty is from B&H, not Nikon).

Strategically, it’s not a bad idea, if you are going for the previous generation model, to get it refurbished or used, when the price difference between the new condition models is closer. Of course this is all relative, and one’s individual preferences and priorities vary, so there’s no one size fits all type of answer.
