With a lot of video, audio and pictures apps, the Roku box is a digital media box convergence device. Or something like that. Anyway, the newly announced Roku 4 that supports 4K video is now available for pre-order for $130 at the Roku website with an October 21st release estimate. It has USB input (for your own media) and microSD (for extra box storage). It supports USB images (JPEG, PNG) up to 4K (UHD).
Photography-related apps available for the Roku box include Flickr, Shutterfly, Smugmug, Dropbox, KelbyOne (one year free with purchase of select Canon DSLRs), Plex, and Phanfare.
