This inaugural and rather lackluster 1-day sale ended…
Tomorrow (Friday December 30) is Amazon’s inaugural Digital Day where they will offer a variety of digital content on sale. Unlike their “Prime Day” in July, this is NOT restricted to Prime members – everyone can buy. Specifics are not available yet other than the teasers at the aforelinked page.
Of camera and photo interest, the potential is for imaging software (digital download delivery), e-books on photography and imaging software (eg Photoshop, Lightroom) or camera-guides, photography and camera-related apps at the Amazon Android-ish app store, and such. I have no idea what will be offered so YMMV.
PRO TIP: if you plan to participate in the festivities, and you don’t want your credit card to be filled with $0.99 and $1.99 transactions, you can buy an emailable gift card and pre-load it to your account if needed, or even reload your rolling Amazon balance (2% bonus if you use a debit card instead of a credit card).
