The headliner of the Best Buy daily deals for Friday is the Synology DiskStation 2-bay External Network Storage (NAS), model DS216J, offered for $140 with free shipping or free store pickup. Hard drives are not included.
It has only two customer reviews at Best Buy, but you can find over 200 at Amazon. This link shows only the reviews for this particular model. Amazon has a handful of other models on the same product page as well, so if you don’t filter the reviews, you’ll see reviews for other models too, all mixed together in a review jungle. The first customer review shown has pictures of what it looks inside (the product gallery pictures at BB and Amazon don’t show the insides).
Speaking of storage, the 480GB SanDisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD (model SDSSDEXT-480G-G25) is on sale for $148~ with free shipping with a limit of one per customer at the moment. But a marketplace seller also offers it for the same price, so that’s one way to get more than one if you need to.
