The new DJI Spark will be released to the world on June 15 in 2017. The hand delivery and free flight training are only available in eight big metro areas in the USA: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and San Francisco. If you don’t want the Alpine color scheme, or don’t want hand delivery, or you are not in those eight metro areas, you can pre-order it for $500 with a June 15 release at various retailers including Amazon itself and various other sellers.

NOTE that DJI is a Chinese company, and as it is often the case with Chinese products, a number of the online sellers offering their products directly or through marketplaces (like Amazon, eBay and such) are based in China. If you are not familiar with a particular seller, do not assume that they ship from the USA. Make sure you check before buying!
