UPDATE: among the Woot daily deals there’s a scratch-n-dent 11.6″ Samsung Chromebook (model XE303C12) going for $90 with a 90-day Woot warranty. Note that this does not get automatic Chrome OS updates (expired July 2018) and has 2GB RAM and 16GB on-board (and microSD) and Exynos processor and full-size USB ports. This was my first Chromebook, and as of three years ago it was already struggling with some of the busier and more demanding websites especially when using multiple tabs. So this can be useful for uni-taskers, eg tech-averse person using it for email and one-page-at-a-time browsing, but anything more demanding, you are better off with newer models…
