Heads Up: Nikon D5600 among the Monday daily deals

This is a heads up alert! Among the teasers for the Monday 3/22/21 daily deals at the NewEgg website they show the Nikon D5600. The teasers over there do not point to actual product pages, so I do not know which kit will be offered and who will be the seller.

The daily deals at NewEgg go live at 12am pacific time, aka 3am eastern time (on Monday 3/22/21 in our case)…

A reasonable guess is that it might be the standard “with 18-55” kit, and as far as the seller, a number of the cameras offered in the NewEgg dailies are international/grey-market. Lower chances it might be refurbished or new (USA warranty) or open-box.

But of course I’m only guessing since the teaser does not show more, and I don’t remember if the D5600 was previously offered as a daily deal at NewEgg. If it had and I remembered, there could be reasonable chances that it is recurring. Sort of like the refurbished Sony H300 superzoom for $85 by a marketplace seller that returns every few days/weeks…

Hubsan ZINO Pro Plus Standard Version Ultra HD 4K Quadcopter for $299

The latest incarnation of the Adorama daily deals (changes Monday 10am ET or earlier if sold out) is the new condition Hubsan ZINO Pro Plus Standard Version Ultra HD 4K Quadcopter going for $299 with free US shipping…

I love how Hubsan managed to stick in all the buzzwords in the product name, “Ultra”, “Pro”, “Plus” but despite all the buzzwords it is also Standard 😉

An Intel i5, a couple of ASUS Vivobooks, a 2TB Toshiba Canvio for $54, and more can be found at the NewEgg daily deals

Among the Sunday Kindle daily deals of the Amazon USA Gold Box there are potentially two books of quasi-related interest:

+ Chasing the Light: Writing, Directing, and Surviving Platoon, Midnight Express, Scarface, Salvador, and the Movie Game from Oliver Stone for $5

+ Process: The Writing Lives of Great Authors for $1
+ if you are a member of Kindle Unlimited, you can read this for free

Also inside the Amazon Gold Box is the most exciting sale ever, RX Bars on sale, all kinds, variety packs and single-flavor, minis and regular size, old flavors and new! As a minimum you must needs try the Chocolate-Sea-Salt and the Maple… The Minis are great for portion control IF you can stop at one a time 🙂

Note however that I haven’t tried any of their Oat/Oatmeal products, I have no clue how they taste, YMMV on those 🙂
