Time for another dive into the Amazon Gold Box… It looks like we currently have a nine hour “Upcoming” visibility window… I added BOLD to the different sections below to make them easier to find; please let me know if it’s too bold 🙂
META UPDATE: so two patterns have emerged so far in this “Nu Gold Box” era:
+ the visibility window of “Upcoming” lightning deals is 8-9 hours
+ Amazon doesn’t seem to start many new lightning deals after 9pm eastern
WHY IS THIS SO CHAOTIC? It takes about an hour to do this post, but when the deals are live like now, the clock is ticking. If I wait until I have all the deals written up before I post this, a number of them will have sold out or expired already, and new ones will have gone up… Another reason for the chaos is that you can no longer sort the Active lightning deals by time, instead they are sorted algorithmically by whatever Amazon’s AI bots decide, which makes a timeline-listing more chaotic since I find them as I go through the listings that are not sorted by time…
