Amazon is creating another shopping holiday, they have declared Friday December 30 to be Digital Day. They will have various offers on digital content on that day, downloadable software, apps, e-books, TV/movies, magazines, games, and pretty much anything else that can be delivered over the wire. They are also building up to it with a “Digital Week” that will reach its high point on Friday December 30 “Digital Day”.
Mayhaps they are trying to do the digital equivalent of their July “Prime Day”. Shopping holidays are all the rage these days, with the “Singles Day” in Asia being the biggest online shopping day (11/11 every year).
