The new condition Canon LS-82Z Handheld Calculator is on sale for $4.38 at Amazon by Amazon itself. You can buy as many as you like so you can give them away and proselytize to the Canon brand. They are however Add-ON products, so you need a $25+ order of Amazon-shipped and/or Amazon-fulfilled products. This is a dual power model, it works on solar and on battery. It does not say what size battery and none of the reviews mention it since it appears most people are using it with solar power.

Note that there are two different models on the same listing. The other model is a large printing calculator, so when reading reviews and answered questions, make sure they are referring to the model you are interested in.
