As usual, we left a trail for bargain hunters by marking prices that have gone up or down by $10 or more with "down $" and "up $" in the top sellers chart. Please note the price-changes are referring to opur previous mid-July snapshot, so be sure to price-check any cameras whose prices you may not be familiar with.

Look for the magic word "down" for cameras that went down by $10+ since our previous update. Similarly look for the word "up" for cameras that went up $10+. To find these, use your browser's search function (eg CTRL-F in Firefaux). The previous update was nearly four weeks ago, so you can get a look at how prices changed the last four weeks - snapshot to snapshot.

We have finally managed to publish a new top selling cameras update and as usual, we left a trail for bargain-hunters and price-checkers. Use your browser's search function (CTRL-F) to search for the magic words "up" and "down" to find cameras that went up or down in price by $10 or more. Because the previous update was about a month ago, you will see some big discounts as the price-dropping trend of the last few weeks continues. We already mentioned some of the cameras individually earlier today, but there are more of them there.

Because our previous update was about a month ago, the price changes may be more pronounced that usual, although a surprising nubmer of camera models that did not have a change in stock-status have been fairly stable price-wise.

Discounts among top-selling DSLRs

We have posted a new edition of the top-selling DSLRs, and as usual, we have left a trail for bargain-hunters and price-watchers. Simply look at the last column in the table, "Price Trend", and there you will see the DSLRs that have gone up or down by $10 or more since the previous update. In this instance, the previous update was seven days ago.

Please keep in mind that the prices are snapshots, not averages, and they are as of the time of writing of each update.

This is not to be confused with the magic-words "Jump" and "Drop" which describe the cameras position and momentum, which is not always directly linked to a price cut or price hike, although it is typically a major factor as you can expect.

Yes, DSLR prices continue to go up. The most dramatic perhaps was the Nikon D200 body-only that jumped from $800 to $900. Ouch!
