Fuji P&S with free case for $70 after rebate at Rite Aid stores

The Rite Aid brick and mortar stores are offering a Fuji P&S digital camera model for $70 after a $30 rebate. The actual model may vary from store-store and region-to-region, but it will likely be one of the A-series (A805, A850) models. The price is $70, after a $30 rebate. The good thing with Rite Aid rebates is that they can be submitted online by entering numbers from your cash-register receipt. The promotion ends at the end of day on Saturday November 21.

If you are interested in getting the Pentax K-7 and are not afraid of mail-in rebates, then you can get the Pentax K-7 with the 18-55mm WR lens for $1015 after a $100 mail-in VISA rebate. This price is actually lower than the body-only which goes for around $1083 on its own without rebate.

Canon Loyalty Program for EOS or Powershots

Canon wants to reward you for being a loyal Canon buyer of EOS DSLRs or Powershot compacts, but in order to earn the reward, you must read and follow the terms of this promotion. Be sure to locate and download the PDF files at the Canon promotions page.

Please note that you may already qualify for your new purchase even if you didn't know about it so be sure to check the PDF files. We'll try to summarize it for you right below.

Key Requirements
+ Must have purchased and registered a qualifying Canon DSLR or Powershot before October 12, 2009
+ Must purchase a new Canon DSLR or Powershot from October 12 to December 31st, 2009
+ read terms and conditions in PDF files
+ fill out forms, cut UPC codes, make photocopies of everything, etc
+ wait around 60 days
+ receive your reward, $50 for a DSLR and $20 for a Powershot

CAUTION: One thing that is not crystal clear from the PDF file terms and conditions is what the limits are. Is it one rebate per person or one rebate per qualifying camera? It would be nice if the idiots who write these make it crystal clear so people don't find themselves in rebate-limbo later on, or miss out on a good deal because they don't want to risk getting in rebate-limbo.

Please note that you keep your old camera, this is not a trade-in program!

The list of qualifying digital cameras is very long, pretty much if you previously bought a Canon camera in the "modern era" you qualify. And the list of cameras to buy covers the current Canon line-up. But be sure to double-check the qualifying models as we can't recall every single model made! For one thing, the 1D/1Ds do not qualify as new-purchases.

Get $50 gift card with regular price camera $150+ (Staples)

Starting this retail week, Staples.com is offering a $50 Staples Gift Card via Easy Rebate, when you purchase a digital camera or camcorder with a regular price of $150 or more at Staples. Be sure to check your local store or their website for more details. EasyRebates are a great way to submit low-risk rebates. You submit them online by entering numbers from the cash register receipt. You do not need to mail anything in, or cut UPC codes. So your rebate is submitted the moment you enter it on the Staples Rebate website.

Update: Please note that because of the goodness of this deal, retail stores may sell out of their camera stock, so you may want to call the store ahead of time.

The Canon Digital Rebel T1i with the 18-55mm EF-S IS lens has dropped a few more dollars, and it is now shipping for $792, with free ground shipping at Amazon, sold and shipped by Amazon herself.

$100 back on SonyStyle purchase of $299+ (with new Sony credit card)

We have a great deal for you SonyStyle fans! However, this is not a "just add to cart" deal, you have to read through the details and the fine-print and understand it on your own. It is relatively simple, but it's not "just add to cart" simple. So if you are the impatient type, then please eject now :-)

Summary
Sony Style has a new promotion that gets you $100 credit back when you open a new Sony Style credit and make a single-receipt SonyStyle purchase of $299 or more. This is a great deal if you are planning to buy items worth $300 or more from Sony Style in a single transaction. The offer is only available to new Sony Card accounts. Existing (current) account holders are unfortunately not eligible.

Please read and understand the terms and conditions of the promotion at the Sony Style website before proceeding.

The promotion for new applications that qualify for the $100 credit-back bonus ends on August 15.

Our interpretation
This segment is our interpretation of this deal. Please note that is only provided as an FIY, and it is possible that we may have misunderstood the terms of the deal, so be sure to read them on your own and decide on your own!

While we try to offer as much information as we can, we are not a personal shopping service and you do not transfer your personal responsibilities to us. We are not a Nanny-State blog :)

0. You are eligible for this promotion if you do NOT already have a Sony Card
1. You apply for a new Sony Card account at SonyStyle
2. If approved right away, you will be notified on-screen and be given a CVV2 number
3. Right away, you can make a special one-time online purchase at SonyStyle up to $5000
4. The physical credit card will arrive in the mail later on
5. Either right-away or with the physical credit card, make a purchase of $299 or more at Sony Style. This must be made in a single transaction. So, if you buy two $200 lenses in the same transaction/receipt, you qualify. If you buy one $200 lens on Monday and another $200 lens on Friday, you do not qualify.
6. The purchase MUST BE made within the first 45 days of your account opening. So do not sleep on it!
7. The $100 card credit will be posted to your Sony Card account 8 to 12 weeks after you make the qualifying purchase
8. Check your statement in 8 to 12 weeks, and enjoy the $100 credit!

Again, please note that the steps above are our interpretation of this promotion. Sadly, it is written in long-winded lawyer-speak instead of plain-english (credit card reform anyone?), so it is possible that we may have misunderstood something. Which is why we stress that you must read and understand it on your own before proceeding.

White Leica C-Lux 3 for $389 after rebate ($75 MIR)

If you are a Leica fan and like the Panasonic FX-series compacts, and you are not afraid of mail-in rebates, and you like white-colored digital cameras, then you have found the right post! You can have the white Leica C-Lux 3 for $389 after a $75 mail-in rebate, sold and shipped by Amazon.com.

Various 3rd-party sellers sell at Amazon, so if you are not buying from Amazon itself (sold and shipped by Amazon), but you are buying from a third-party seller at Amazon, be sure to find out whether they qualify for the rebate.

The black C-Lux 3 is currently in the nebulous "ships in 1 to 2 months" status from Amazon.com proper. Other sellers have it in-stock, but we do not know if they qualify for the $75 MIR (mail-in rebate).

16gb Lexar 60x Platinum II SDHC card for $30 after rebate (max 3 cards)

If you are a fan of mail-in rebates and Lexar memory-cards, Adorama is offering the 16gb Lexar 60x Platinum II SDHC card for $30 after a $30 mail-in rebate. Shipping is additional! You can find the mail-in rebate form at the Adorama website.

The rebate promotion is good from July 1st to July 31st, so if you already made a purchase, dig for the receipts and UPC codes. According to the mail-in rebate PDF file, there is a "limit (3) three rebates per product per address". Be sure to read all the instructions and follow them to the letter to decrease the chances of "rebate adventures".

Get $50 back if you buy (or bought) a DSLR + Adobe Lightroom 2 at Adorama (March 16 unti June 27)

Adorama is running a promotion that is good not only for new buyers but also for old buyers! If you purchase (or have purchased) a DSLR and Lightroom 2 from Adorama, you will receive $50 back via a mail-in rebate or on credit-card. You do not have to buy the DSLR and LR2 on the same date. But make sure they are bought between March 16 and June 27, and obviously bought by the same person.

The rebate form is at the aforementioned LR2 page at Adorama - look for the link that says "> [Rebate Available] ** Download ** ". This opens up the PDF file of the rebate form.

This is an Adorama-specific promotion, and the rebate will be mailed to the Adorama fulfillment center in NYC.
