(DEAD) Canon 7D stock status update ($1935 w/28-135, $2150 w/18-135) [body: soldout]

These have ended We have just refreshed the Canon 7D stock status page, and since our previous mid-February update, prices have gone up by as much as $450, with most of the increases in the $300s, with the body only being out of stock at many retailers. The lowest in-stock prices among the retailers we track at the moment are $1800 for the body at B&H Photo (sold-out as of 10:43pm EST check) and $1935 for the 7D w/28-135 at Abe's of Maine when you use coupon code LOYALTY15 ($15 off). The 7D w/18-135 goes for $2150.

Price increases at some retailers for Canon T3i/600D and Nikon D7000

As of today's update of stock status pages, we have noticed prices increasing above the opening prices at major retailers for the Canon T3i/600D) and the Nikon D7000. The T3i body only and w/18-55mm have gone up by up to $50 (B&H, Adorama, Best Buy), the T3i w/18-135 by $100 (B&H, Adorama) and the D7000 w/18-105 by $100 (so far only at B&H). Amazon's own prices haven't increased, but the third-party sellers at Amazon are - as usual - increasing prices as well. (Reminder: when buying from 3rd-party sellers at Amazon/Sears/Buy.com, be sure to check who the actual seller is, whether they are an authorized dealer, and also check their reputation/rating among online shoppers).

Please note the stock status pages are as of the "Latest Update" date/time and we do not have magic technology to automatically sense changes and then rewrite the blog entries (even Google with its global IT infrastructure hasn't figured out yet how to do this yet).
