Pentax Q silver w/8.5mm prime drops to $400 as well

The silver Pentax Q with the 8.5mm prime lens has joined the black equivalent kit at the $400 price point at well-known retailers. Currently this price is offered by Samy's on Amazon.

(DEAD) Sliding again: black Pentax Q w/8.5mm for $375~ (was $385)

As of a 7/20/12 recheck, Amazon's own price has jumped back to $550. Last week the black Pentax Q with the 8.5mm prime lens kept sliding until $388~, then it found some "resistance" (to borrow a phrase from the stock analysts) and jumped up to $400+. Now it is sliding again, its current price at Amazon by Amazon is $385~. Will the bottom fall out or will it keep sliding slowly? Only time will tell! UPDATE (7/17/12 at 10:55am ET): the price is now $375~

Update (7/9/12): It looks like the black Pentax Q with the 8.5mm prime lens has found a temporary price-bottom - if we apply stock analysis to its price. It has now jumped to $394, up from the falling knife bottom of $388. Original Post: We had at least two price slides today on the black Pentax Q with 8.5mm prime. As of the time of writing, the price is $388, sold and shipped by Amazon itself. Yesterday's price was $411, then down to $400 and now $388. Free accessories with Pentax K-01 (also: add Optio RS1500 for +$20)

Adorama has a couple of specials on the Pentax K-01. First up, if you page-down at the Adorama K-01 search results, you will notice that there are K-01 kits with free accessories (16GB card, extra battery, camera case, memory card case) offered at the same price as the standard kits, eg $750 body only, $900 with XS pancake, $1000 two lens zoom kit. Page down in the search results to see the free accessories bundles!

The second promotion is a value meal. If you buy one of the above K-01 kits (including the ones with the free accessories), you can add to cart the Pentax Optio RS150 P&S camera for just $20 more. Click on the "Buy together and save" blue link in the K-01 pages which will bring up a pop-up window which will show the Optio RS150 offer. Then add to cart and proceed as usual.
