Nikon D7100 ships tomorrow and eligible for optional Instant Rebates

As of a May-20-2012 5:23pm ET recheck, this has sold-out! For future updates, check the D700 stock status page... The Nikon D700 body only is back in-stock for $2200 at Amazon by Amazon. The page says "only 8 left in-stock" as of the time of writing.

Nikon D7000 body in-stock for $1200 (D700 sold out) [updated]

Speaking of Nikons and 7s, the D7000 (APS-C) body only has returned in-stock at various at Amazon at its usual price of $1200.

Refurbished Nikon D700 for $2350

Adorama has refurbished Nikon D700 bodies offered for $2350 with free shipping. The latest prices of new-in-box can be found at the D700 stock status page which we refreshed last night during the stock status update marathon.

As of a Wedn March-23-2011 1pm EST check, the D700 body for $2370~ at J&R World has sold out and is in temporarily out of stock status. We have just refreshed the Nikon D700 stock status page and we have some good news for you if you are interested in the Nikon D700 body only! The price remains at around $2370 at J&R World! The prices at Amazon (by Amazon itself), B&H and Adorama have jumped to $2700 for the body only.

Coupons also work with D700 w/24-120mm kit but not a good deal
The coupons appear to be compatible with the D700 + 24-120mm f3.5-5.6 lens (the old one) as well, however, this kit is priced at $3020. The D700 body only is $2400. The 24-120mm f3.5-5.6 lens goes for $560-$580 on its own, so buying them separately actually saves you $40-$60! Also, there is a newly announced 24-120mm f4 VR lens available for pre-order for $1300.
