eBay daily deals: three small things with free shipping

If you like to buy small things with FREE shipping without having to fulfill a minimum purchase price, we have three eBay deals of the day that have just gone live that you may find interesting.

First, for $8 you can have the Dolica Weather-Resistant Ultra-Slim Camera Case with a mini tripod for $8 with free shipping by power-seller eCost (99.3%).

Next, helping you see in the dark, is this Inland Pro USB laptop light for $6 with free shipping and handling by seller VibeCellular (99.7%).

And we close with some music to your (or somebody else's) ears, a 4gb V-Clip mp3 player with headphones, new in box for $20 with free shipping and handling by Buy.com (99.7%). This music player does NOT have a display. You can thank Apple and its "brilliant" iPod Shuffle for turning the lack of a display into a "feature" :)

There are different limits on how many units you can get per item mentioned above. The easiest way to find out is to put the number of items you want in your shopping cart and see if you hit a limit.

The featured deal today (Saturday) at the Amazon gold box is the 32-inch Sony Bravia KDL-32L5000, a 720p LCD HDTV. This is sold and shipped by Amazon herself. The price is good until 3am on Sunday, unless it sells out ahead of time.

JVC Picsio GC-FM1A w/ bonus 4gb SDHC ships for $180

We are not sure if this is partially related to the JVC Pentax rumor, but sales of the JVC Picsio camcorder (a Flip clone) picked up momentum at Amazon since yesterday. The gadget goes for around $180 and it includes a bonus 4gb SDHC memory card. Sold and shipped by Amazon herself.

Flip Mino (60 min) with AC adapter shipped for $100

If you are curious about these small camcorder sticks, you can find out for $100. Amazon is offering the black Flip Mino, with the A/C adapter, for $100 with free shipping. This is the 60-minute (2gb) model. This records VGA video. The HD models go for $160+.

7-port USB hub with AC adapter and hub ships for $11.03

One of the deals of the day on eBay today is a 7-port USB hub offered by eForcity for $11.03 with free shipping and handling. Yes, eBay is getting cutesy, today is 11-03-09, so they are pricing things at $11.03 :)

It includes a USB adapter, a USB cable, and a vertical stand! As with all ebay daily deals, we do not know how long they will last.

VHoldr Wearable camcorder (non-HD) ships for $150

The non-HD version of the VHoldr Wearable camcorder is now shipping from Amazon.com for $150 with free shipping and handling. We don't know much about this gadget, but there are 43 customer reviews there, and I'm sure lots more on the tech/gadget blogs on the internets.

The HD-versions go for $280 and $330 (1080p full).

(SOLD OUT) 4-port USB "Octopus" with one Mini-b ships for $8

One of the current deals of the day on eBay is the Ultra 4-Port USB Hub Octopus which includes three standard (type A) USB ports, and one "Mini b" for directly connecting smaller devices like mp3 players and digital cameras. The price is $8 with free shipping, and offered by Tigerdirect-on-eBay.

And for those who think through what they read, we are preempting your question, we don't know why they call "Octopus" something that only has 4+1 legs :) It's like Octomom having only five kids. Others call devices with "tentacles" like this "Squid" and such. Maybe it was the only relevant name that wasn't taken. Or they just didn't think it through :)

As usual with deals of the day on eBay, it may last from a few hours to a few days. We has no way of knowing.

International Kindle drops $20 (now $259)

The price of the International Kindle has dropped by $20 today to $259. The International Kindle (International from the geographical perspective of Amazon.com) was recently announced, and it can be in over 100 countries, not just in the US.

Meanwhile, the US-only edition of this Kindle (second generation 6-inch) has disappeared from the Amazon search results, which perhaps hints that Amazon is making the international edition the default edition. That would also explain the discount, along of course with the announcement of the Barnes and Noble The Nook also at $259.

If you want to try out the Kindle, but want to spend less, and don't object to having a refurbished first-generation model, Amazon is offering refurbished Kindles for $150 via their Warehouse Deals subsidiary, but the order is fulfilled by Amazon.com herself. Sounds twisted enough that accountants and lawyers must be involved ;-)

And one more thing, you can read the main noisy blog on the Kindle! It comes with a free two-week trial, so you have nothing to lose. After the free trial, the price is 99c per month. This has the benefit of automated delivery to your K-thang by the Amazon Whispernet. If instead you want to read the main blog, but don't want to $subscribe$, you can do so by manually uploading the updates by PDF, RSS, or other formats. Some ideas at this post and many more at the hundreds of Kindle blogs out there.

$100 BluRay player: Insignia NS-BRDVD3 at Best Buy

If you are looking for an affordable Blu-Ray player, Best Buy has discounted their Insignia Blu-Ray player to $100. This is new-in-box, not refurbished.

This sale is part of their weekly circular ad that ends at the close of business on Saturday. We do not know whether the price will remain next week, or this is only a one-week special.

The current online stock-status is "leaves warehouse in 1 business day". For in-store pickup, they have the "Check Stores" option to see if it's available in any of your local stores.

Buy Flip UltraHD (120min) for around $160 (get bonus $25 Amazon gift card)

If you needed an excuse to buy the Flip camcorder gadgets, Amazon is sweetening the offer by offering a free Amazon $25 plastic gift card if you purchase either one of the 120-minute Flip UltraHD models. The silver goes for $155, while the black goes for $162. You also get free shipping and 55 free prints from Shutterfly.

The $25 gift card promotion expires on October 31st, so be sure to bookmark this post if this sounds interesting. The gift card will be delivered in the box (plastic gift card, not online code), so you can also save it as an emergency holiday gift, or add it in someone's stocking!

Please note that the gift card is only offered if Amazon.com itself, not 3rd-party sellers, is the one shipping the item!
