The free shipping party continues, now with Radio Shack offering free shipping on orders over $20. The offer excludes desktops, laptops and televisions, and "other" items. The promotion is only good for online purchases through their website and it expires on May 31st, 2009.
Among other stuff on their website, they are offering the black Olympus Stylus 1040 for $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate. They also offer a netbook for $50 if you sign up for an AT&T data plan at $60/month. Needless to say, this deal only makes sense if you actually need or want to get the broadband data plan, otherwise, the $200 or so savings of the netbook would be gone in four months (4 times $60 = $240).
It looks like it is free shipping season! After Calumet yesterday, J&R World has launched a free shipping promotion (to the 48 continental US states) on thousands of products in their inventory. This is particularly good for smaller items that typically don't get to participate in free shipping promotions.
