According to the Canon promotions page, today, Saturday November 21st is the last day for the $200 OFF instant rebates for Canon DSLR two-lens combos. As of the time of writing you can get these prices:

+ T1i + 18-55mm kit and the 55-250mm EF-S = $976 - 200 = $776

+ D-Rebel XSi kit w/18-55mm and the EF-S 55-250mm lens = $839 - $200 = $639

The 55-250mm EF-S lens will ship in "4 to 7 weeks", however, this does not affect the price, since you lock the price the moment you place an order.

The Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm DX VR kit is shipping from Amazon.com, by Amazon herself, for $1030 with free shipping. You also get a free one year subscription to Wired.

Olympus E3 body ships for $1050, E30 with lens for $950

If you are looking to get into the high-end of the Four Thirds system, for around $1050 you can get the Olympus E3 [reviews] body only from:

If you happen to be interested in the Sony Alpha A300 [reviews], you can get it now for $500 with free shipping at J&R World (add to cart to see price!).

This kit was also available by J&R World on Amazon but as of 2am EST on November 21, it is no longer available through Amazon.

This is because of the $200 instant rebate that is currently in effect. To get this price, be sure to add the D-Rebel XSi kit w/18-55mm and the EF-S 55-250mm lens to your shopping cart. Once you reach the Amazon Checkout page, the price will drop by $200. Both items MUST be sold and shipped by Amazon.com. The 55-250mm lens won't ship right away, it has a "ships in 4 to 7 weeks" estimate, however, you do lock in this price. This is an instant rebate, so you don't have to mail anything in.

The Canon 7D body only is now back in-stock at Amazon.com for the expected price of $1700. This is sold and shipped by Amazon herself, not third-party sellers.
