Canon's more compact DSLR, the new SL1 with the new 18-55mm STM kit lens is now in-stock and shipping at its starting price of $800 at B&H Photo.
If you don't have need or use for the new STM kit lens, the SL1 body only goes for $650, a starting difference of $150.
This new difference of $150 between body only and with-lens kit for both the SL1 and the T5i/700D is perhaps because of the new 18-55 STM lens. In previous releases, the starting difference between body only and with-lens kit was $100. However, these prices tend to adjust over time, so the starting price is not necessarily a guarantee that they will remain at a distance of $150.

A new round of Canon DSLR price adjustments at Amazon brings the Canon 60D body only down to $654 with free shipping. The 60D price has been sliding, so keep an eye on it if you are interested in this particular model. It should go without saying, both the 60D and the 7D have been around for a while, so replacement models are expected among Canon fans.
Sony has launched a new round of instant savings promotion, with price-fixed Sony cameras changing prices at authorized Sony dealers. If you see lower prices, make sure you are looking at an authorized Sony dealer! Some of the deals websites and camera blogs are either clueless or irresponsible in not mentioning this distinction when mentioning deals of that type. This round of instant savings expires June-1-2013. Here they are:

It looks like the Canon D-Rebel T3/1100D with its 18-55 kit lens is finally breaking the $400 barrier. It is currently available for $380 at Fry's for both online shoppers and store pick-up-ers. I don't know if Amazon will price-match this, the current Amazon price is $410.
