In-Stock Now: Fuji X-T2 Body for $1600

This was a very productive update of the Stock Status Tracker as it produced a handful of In-Stock Alerts, including the new condition Fuji X-T2 body only going for $1600 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three units per customer. A 3rd-party seller (Wolfe’s) has it in-stock as well among those in the detailed listings.

Or if you are a fan of used, the X-T2 with 18-55 is currently available used for $1662. Keep in mind, used quantities are even more limited than new condition when it comes to “hard to find” camera gear.

Used Fuji X-T2 with 18-55 for $1662

If you are fond of used camera, the Fuji X-T2 with the 18-55 lens is available in “Used – Very Good” condition for $1662~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual. The new condition price for this kit at authorized dealers is $1900. The description is very spartan in this case…

In-Stock Now: Fuji X-T2 Graphite body for $1800

If you are a fan of the Fuji X-T2 Graphite body only, good news for you too, it is currently in-stock for $1800 with free shipping at Adorama and by Amazon itself along with various 3rd-party sellers over there… For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.

For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.

In-Stock now: Fuji X100F for $1300 [also, auction by “real person” in progress]

It is pure coincidence that I’m updating the Stock Status Tracker on Mondays, it’s supposed to get updated a lot more often, but time seems to fly faster and faster these days. Anyway, enough meta-talk, to the Fuji X100F-landia we go…

… where the Best Buy’s eBay store has the silver X100F in-stock for $1300. Limit three per buyer per the listing page.

On the black X100F front, Amazon itself has a May 18 in-stock estimate as of the time of writing. Keep in mind these estimates change over time…

If you are a Prime member and pay with either the Chase Amazon VISA credit card or the Prime Store credit card, you will receive 5% back as a statement credit, which is no small change, it is $65~ given the current price.

If you are not a Prime member, and you pay with the Chase Amazon VISA credit card you get 3% back as a statement credit, around $39. Citibank’s Forward credit card used to offer 5% on Amazon, but unless you are in a grandfathered card that wasn’t switched over, they no longer offer it (as far as I can tell).

USED OPTION
On the other hand, if you are a fan of buying used from eBay, an individual has a USED (eBay Auction) that ends on Tuesday at 10:30pm ET. As of the time of writing, the auction price is $1125 with 29 bids. Shipping is $12 from the state of MA.

(ENDED) Auction Watch: Fuji X100F ends 12:08pm ET today

This auction ended with someone scooping it up towards the end, 15 bids and a $1200 price… If you need some eBay auction entertainment/excitment, ending today at 12:08pm ET is a classic eBay auction by an individual seller on the Fuji X100F silver. As of 10:55am ET, there are 14 bids with a $1175 price. The individual eBay seller (100%, 65 ratings) is based in Los Angeles.

This used option sold out as well: There is a “Used – Like New” option for $1202 by Amazon Warehouse Deals with a detailed condition and half a dozen pictures of the actual item (click on one of the two thumbnails to see the gallery).

The new condition price of the X100F at authorized dealers is $1300. For more options, check the Stock Status Tracker where there is one retailer that has both colors for $1300. The listing says they ship from the USA, but the seller’s page says they are in Hong Kong. I haven’t tried to go through with a purchase to see what happens [poor blogger!]

Pre-order new Fuji Square SQ10 Instant for $280

Smartphones can cannibalize entry-level P&S digital cameras, but they can’t do that to instant film cameras, which continue to thrive! Case in point, Fuji has a new square format instant camera (that is also a digital hybrid), the Square SQ10, and it is available for pre-order for $280 at B&H Photo for $280. The digital part is a 1/4″ CMOS sensor that produces 1920 x 1920 digital stills.

Refurbished Fuji XP90 waterproof P&S for $105

On the waterproof cameras front, the lime-green Fuji XP90 is offered in certified refurbished condition for $105 with free shipping by a 3rd-party seller with the order fulfilled by Amazon, so you get free 2-day shipping as a member.

NOTE #1: the seller’s name is “Prime Deal” but it has nothing to do with Amazon. I do not know why Amazon allows 3rd-party sellers to use names that can confuse the casual shopper into thinking this is Amazon.

NOTE #2: “certified refurbished” at Amazon is a term Amazon defines products that have a 90-day minimum warranty but they can be refurbished by anyone, manufacturer, 3rd-party, seller, unicorns, etc. They have created a portal dedicated to certified refurbished products over there.

In-Stock Now: Fuji X100F in Silver and Black for $1300

In this “Stock Update Saturday” we have another addition to the Stock Status Tracker, the Fuji X100F big sensor prime, and this is currently in-stock for its starting price of $1300 as follows:

+ silver by Best Buy (eBay)

+ black by B&H Photo and Kenmore (eBay)

Used Fuji GFX-50S body for $5979 to $6000; New In-Stock for $6500

New addition to the Stock Status Tracker, the Fuji GFX-50S, it is in-stock for $6500 at multiple dealers, but if you are comfortable with used, you can get it for $5979 by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself (Amazon’s used sales persona, Prime eligible for members), or for $6000 by OneCall (Prime eligible) with a 1-year warranty from OneCall. Amazon’s own Warehouse Deals only promises a 30-day return policy, they don’t promise a warranty. From there, Adorama has it in “Used – Demo” condition for $6349 plus shipping (which is very close to the new condition price).

It is in-stock in new condition for $6500 at the usual places, including Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon. Keep in mind, B&H and Adorama orders will ship beginning Wednesday April 19.

PS: blanket warning reminder for Amazon ~ Amazon has yet to figure out how to block the armies of spam/scam/bot sellers that offer high-demand items at ridiculously low prices in order to harvest customer data (and who knows what else they plan). These are typically “Just Launched” sellers, and they ask you to email them before buying.

The IN (Fuji X-T2, Canon 77D, Olympus E-M1 II) and OUT (Panasonic GH5) Report

With taxes finally done (don’t forget, Tuesday is the deadline for both the 2016 Tax Year and the first quarterly payment estimate for 2017), it is time to focus (pun intended) on the Stock Status Tracker. The bad news first, the Panasonic GH5 is out of stock at all the retailers I checked. The rest of the cameras tracked are good news for availability (bad news for your tax refund and/or wallet).

The Fuji X-T2 body only is back in-stock at Amazon by Amazon itself and a couple of 3rd-party sellers over there. The Prime-only restrictions are only for items sold and shipped by Amazon itself. 3rd-party sellers are happy to sell to anyone and everyone willing to pay 🙂 It is also in-stock at B&H Photo but note that orders will ship April 19+ even if you select overnight shipping!

The Canon 77D has been steadily in-stock every time I checked, the BuyDig bundle with a handful of accessories (3rd-party flash, converter lenses, filters ,bag, 64GB card, remote, and the usual assortment of trinkets (card reader, cleaning kit, microfiber cloth, air blower) included for the same price of $900.

Multiple Olympus E-M1 II Options
The Olympus E-M1 II body continues to go for $2000 at authorized dealers with stackable Combined Purchase Lens Discounts but there are some opportunities for discounting if you don’t need the stackable offer:

+ USED (Demo Condition) for $1859 + S&H at Adorama

+ USED (Like New Condition) for $1879 by Cardinal (via Amazon)
+ NOTE: ignore/AVOID those “Just Launched” sellers at Amazon that offer it for less. They are trolling/phishing for customer/financial data

+ NEW CONDITION but you can negotiate using eBay’s Built-In and Blessed “Best Offer” process by Pixel Connection (starting price is $2000)
