Lexar Class 4 SDHC and microSDHC sale: 8GB for $7, 16GB for $10, 32GB for $19

For this shopping week (May 19 to 25 in 2013), Office Max has a Lexar memory card and USB sticks sale. Included are 8GB models (microSDHC, SDHC, USB sticks) for $6, 16GB models for $10, and 32GB for $19. The memory cards are class 4 (100x) at these prices.

Shipping is free if the total of your order is $20 or more. You can also select Store Pickup or buy them from your local Office Max store.

If buying online and you are under $20 with the memory cards, you can purchase them together with the 100% Rewards office supplies specials (yellow stickies, pens) and get the free shipping.

Office Max has another promotion for this week, pay $101 and get one $100 and one $15 iTunes plastic gift card. Shipping is included in the gift card price (99c). Their gift card product page is a chaotic mess, but basically you click on the first item in the list (23843520) with the "Special Offer" next to it. The Office Max shopping cart will automatically include the $15 free gift card. Please note these are both plastic gift cards to be delivered by mail. Limit 1 promotion per shopping cart. (There are plenty of camera and photography apps along with digital photography books and guides at iTunes if you are part of the Apple digital ecosystem).

Kindle Fire owners: free $5 credit to spend on photography apps

Amazon is the latest one to launch "digital coins". If you have a Kindle Fire registered to your Amazon account, that account has automatically received 500 coins which are the equivalent of $5. You can use these to purchase any apps available at the Amazon App Store including the many Photography Apps. One strategy is to use the $5 balance to try out five different 99c premium apps. Another strategy is to use it on a more expensive app under $5, still not paying anything out of pocket (for example the PicShop Photo Editor going for $4.99). Or you can use it get Photoshop Touch for $5 out of your own pocket.

This daily special expired... The free premium app for Thursday at the Amazon Android-ish App Store is Draw Infinity. You can get it from any web browser, you don't have to get it with a mobile device. This promotion ends by 3am ET on Friday when it will be replaced with another free premium app du jour.

Perfectly Clear (Android app) for $1.50

The Perfectly Clear photography app is currently on sale for $1.50 at the Google Android Play Market. If you launch the Google Play store app on your Android device, device you may notice a brand new user interface. But they apparently they still haven't been able to develop a playlist download option.

Now shipping: Free Cinemagram app on Google Play (Android)

The Animated GIF concept has become the digital roach of the internet. A new app that jumps on the short video clip bandwagon is now available for free in the Google Play Android market, it is Cinemagram. Android 4.0 or later is required.

Free Premium iOS app: Autodesk Pixlr Express Plus (limited time)

In yet another free-premium-app limited-time-offer, at the iTunes store, you can get the Autodesk Pixlr Express Plus app for FREE. If you are reading this at a later date, be sure to check the price. The Plus is the premium app. The without Plus is the always free app which is also available on Google Play. The Plus is not available on Google Play as of the time of writing.

Speaking of the iApple world, Monoprice is offering 30% off Cables and Chargers for iPad/iPhone/iPod when you enter Coupon Code apple30 at checkout. The coupon ends 2/8/13.

Adobe Revel goes freemium: basic app free (premium for $6/month)

Adobe has re-arranged the chairs on the Revel app, going more towards a freemium model! Now it is free for everyone to install and use at iTunes at a basic level. If you wish to use it without limits, there is Revel Premium for $6 per month. The free Revel offers unlimited import of photos during your first 30 days and then only 50 photos per month after that. The $6/month plan offers unlimited uploads all the time. So, strategically, don't install the app until you are ready to start uploading! Details at the Photoshop blog.

FREE: Snapseed on Android 4.0 or later

The popular Snapseed mobile photography app is now available for FREE at the Google Android Play Market. The app is also free at the iTunes Store. UPDATE: The app works only on Android 4.0 or later (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Free on iTunes: Triggertrap for iOS 5.0 +

Taking part in the Cyber Monday festivities is the Triggertrap iOS app, offered for FREE as a limited time promotion. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later and a compatible i-Device starting with iPhone 3GS or later, and iPod Touch (4th generation) or later. Thanks to one of our readers for the alert!

CVS now: buy $15+ Duracell get $5 Extrabucks (buy $75 iTunes, get $20 ExtraBucks)

CVS is trying to steal a march on the competition this week as they have already unleashed their Black Friday specials at brick and mortar stores. Of camera/photography interest, they are offering $5 Extrabucks when you purchase $15+ in Duracell batteries (including the pre-charged AA rechargeables), and $20 in Extrabucks when you purchase $75 in Apple iTunes/AppStore gift cards ($20 off $75 = 27% off). Please note this is not a discount on the purchase price, but an after-purchase bonus that you can use on your next purchase (the Extrabucks). This is not cashback! The ExtraBucks have an expiration date and each certificate must be used in full, so it is of interest if you are a regular CVS shopper or if you do not object to shopping there. This is in their weekly ad that covers up to the close of business on Saturday November 24, 2012.
