Foveon temptations again, the Sigma DP1x has dropped another $50, you can now get it for $250 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon. This is a previous generation model with a 1.7x Foveon sensor. The current generation DP-Merrill models use the latest APS-C Foveon sensor.
