This can be useful, among other things, as a digital assistant for lightweight tasks so you can spare the battery of your power-laptop/laptop-replacement computer for more heavy duty tasks... We started using one of these for blogging purposes, it's a lot faster to post quick blog updates/alerts with this rather than wait for Windows to start up or wake up unconfused :)
