(DEAD DEAD DEAD) Free Software: Adobe CS2 (confusion confusion confusion)

This spread like wildfire on the internets but it wasn't actually free for all. Only for licensed CS2 users. Imaging Resource explains the confusion... Adobe itself is offering CS2 for free online at this Adobe.com website. However, as of the time of writing, the website is unavailable due to high demand, or something like that.
