Also with freebies, the price is also $900 at Amazon by Amazon [corrected link] where you can get an AmazonBasics SLR backpack and 16GB SDHC. Simply add the DSLR with the two free extras to the shopping cart, and their price will be adjusted automatically at the top right corner of the Amazon Checkout page if all is well.
In addition to the freebies, the Nikon D7000 is eligible for the optional Nikon Instant Rebates (expire December-15-2012).
It is also available for $900 at Target.com, without freebies, but you can use the RED card for 5% off.
