Fuji X-Pro1 dropping to $1400 on November 25

Fuji's own Brandon Remler revealed on his blog that Fuji will be discounting the price of the X-Pro1 to $1400 starting on November 25, 2012. He also provided an end-date for the discount, February 2, 2013. This will bring it closer in price to the X-E1 [stock status page]. On the other hand, one can get the X-E1 w/18-55 f2.8-4 OIS [when it becomes available] for the same price as an X-Pro1 body only, so it sets up an interesting trade-off for interested photographers.

The Fuji X-Pro 1 stock status page has not been updated since the summer, but you can still use it to do a DIY price-check as we get closer to November 25, 2012.
