Olympus XZ-1 black slides to $270 (was $280) [updated]

I'm not sure what Olympus was thinking (or if they were thinking) when they priced the new Stylus XZ-2 at $600, but the existing black XZ1 continues to price-slide, you can now get it for $270 $280 at Amazon by Amazon itself. Price updates on 9/24/12 at 11:37pm ET.

The above if you have a short-term buy-interest in the camera. On the other hand, the camera has already been featured in at least a couple of lightning deals, so if the pattern holds, it may be featured again in future Lightning Deals. This is only speculation as we cannot see the future.
