Aug 26 - Sept 1: 50pk HP 8.5x11 photo paper Free After Rebate (limit 2)
The weekly ad for the brick and mortar shopping week of Sunday August 26 until the close of business on Saturday September 1, 2012 is up at the Staples website. During that week, they will have a free-after-Easy-Rebate special on the 50pk HP 8.5x11 photo paper. This time it is a limit two for the whole week promotion. You pay $9 + tax in-store, submit the rebate online using data from your cash register receipt, and after a few weeks, you will receive $9 back. Sales-tax is not refunded. The options on how you get your money back vary by rebate promotion, but they typically include a postcard-check by mail and at least one of PayPal, Visa prepaid gift card, Staples gift card. Since this is free-after-rebate and it is back to school season, it may be a good idea to try to get it on Sunday or shortly thereafter. If sold-out, check again towards the end of the week (Fri/Sat) for potentially new shipments.
Also, if you use HP ink cartridges, the triple recycling promotion is back. If you buy $50 or more of HP ink, you get triple recycling rewards per cartridge recycled at the same time ($6 rewards instead of the usual $2). You also get 10% back in rewards on the purchase price of the new inks. Limit five recycled cartridges for this promotion. This may be a good deal when replacing quad-pack inks which typically go for $50+. Four inks recycled = $24 in Staples Rewards. Please note the $6 per cartridge are rewards to be delivered through the Staples Rewards program. They are not instant discounts or a rebates! You must be a member of the Staples Rewards program and show your Rewards card when making the purchase. Be sure to read up the terms and conditions if you are not familiar with how the Staples rewards program works.
Meanwhile, this week, good until the close of business on Saturday August 25, 2012, you can get a 50pk of Staples brand 8.5x11 double-sided matte photo paper for 50-cents after EasyRebate. Limit 4 for this week. These are typically less likely to sell out than brand name papers like HP and Kodak.
Please note the Staples Rebate/EasyRebate and Rewards programs are two separate programs with different terms and conditions! They work differently and have different rules. Be sure to understand how they work first before jumping in!
During that week they also have a lot of specials on office supplies, so if you have kids/grandkids going back to school or you want to stock/restock your home/office/studio, be sure to check them out as well.
