Free Nikonians Basic membership in exchange for being active

Nikonians has announced a change in their free Basic membership - you can now remain on the free Basic membership indefinitely as long as you are active on their forums/website. Activity (eg posting in the forums, uploading pictures, etc) earns you more free future days. The more active you are, the more free future days you earn. It appears this model is gaining in popularity these days as a compromise between free and no-free.
