Budget-friendly laptop with T4300 dual-core (4GB, 250GB) for $430

Through Gizmodo, we learn of a good bang for the buck laptop deal at BestBuy.com. For $430, without any rebates, you can get the HP G60-549DX laptop. Unlike other laptops in this price range, this has a reasonably good for the price-range processor (Intel Pentium dual-core T4300) which may make it of interest to photographers. The processor ranks in the Top 250 at CPUBenchmark.net (great resource by the way!), along with 4GB RAM, 15.6-inch widescreen, 250GB hard disk, DVD burner (+R DL also), memory-card reader, 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, and battery life up to 2 hours and 45 minutes (HP's estimate). It has the Intel GMA 4500M, not a dedicated graphics card, which is not unreasonable considering the price.

While this obviously does not replace the dedicated Photoshop workstation, there's plenty of memory, and enough CPU power and storage and flexibility to make this a versatile yet budget-friendly laptop for photographers.
