Panasonic LS85K (black) ships for around $100 (LZ8K also)

This is turning into Panasonic day! For around $100, with free shipping, you can get the black Panasonic LS85. This is a basic AA-based point and shoot digital camera, and could make a good starter-camera gift, or perhaps the type of camera you leave in your car, office or bag, and won't shed (m)any tears if it gets lost, stolen or damaged.

It has a reasonable eight megapixels, with a 4X MegaOIS lens, 2.5" LCD, face detection, 33-132mm equivalent focal range, SD/SDHC, AA batteries, etc.

For around the same price, you can also get a bright bold-o-vision magenta-pink-purple body-color :)

Staying with the same price point, but a slightly older camera, the one that won the last budget-compact group-test at dpreview, you can get the Panasonic LZ8K by Beach Camera on Amazon.
