Now shipping: Canon EF-S 18-135mm IS for $500

The recently announced Canon 18-200mm EF-S IS superzoom lens is now shipping from B&H Photo for the starting and expected price of $500. This is intended for non-full-frame EF-S dSLRs, and gives roughly the equivalent of the old 28-300mm lenses, although because of the 1.6X factor, this is a little bit more "zoomie" than that.
