$5 off $30+ at Staples brick and mortar (also Canon 50pk 8.5x11 photo-paper $2AR)
If you have a Sunday paper, or you plan to get one from your local newsstand, make sure it has the Staples circular ad inside. The circular ad has a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $30 or more. You can use this to buy just about anything in-store, with a few exceptions (gift-cards and HP stuff). They usually carry about one to two dozen digital cameras, including a couple of DSLRs, along with memory-cards, batteries, basic accessories, photo-paper (you can get a 50pk of Canon Pro 8.5x11 matte photo-paper for $2 after rebate), and of course all sorts of other stuff/crap.
The circular-ad you will find in-store does NOT have the $5 off coupon in it. The coupon is only available in the circular-ads found in the Sunday papers.
And speaking of Staples, occasionally you may find some of the older cameras at nice clearance prices, but this varies from store to store, and it is more of a lottery than anything else. But it doesn't hurt to check if you happen to be there.
PS: The Staples rebates are nice in that most of them can be submitted online, without the need to mail anything or cut UPC codes, or photocopy anything. You just enter the numbers from the receipt on their rebates website and the computer figures it all out.
