According to the specifications this is a "made in Japan" lens, and when mounted on APS-C/EF-S dSLRs, it give roughly the "equivalent" of 29-55mm. Multiply by 1.58x for an accurate estimate, but then again, the focal range of a lens given in the specifications is usually a couple of millimeters off anyway, so if you need a really accurate estimate, then you have to dig deeper.
